Over here it is not humid so mould is less of a problem.

Actually I don&#039;t use a lid on my pail, I don&#039;t know if this helps? It sure does reduce the smell.

I also rinse off the pail after putting a nappy load in the washing machine.
I use a few drops of teatree oil or eucalyptus oil to wash the inside of the pail, then let it dry before use (I have 2 pails).

Once a month I would wash my nappies in 60ºC and/or use a bit of Dettol to disinfect the nappies, to get rid of possible mould or yeast issues.
My toddler has sensitive skin so I do this more as preventative measure than anything.</description>

		<description>hi, not sure about d weather there, but back here, if i leave my lampin damp for too many hours on pail like that, I notice they all grow mold (greenish and black) and eventually spreading to the rest of the damp clothing :(  therefore i m always extra careful about the CD and make sure we rinse off the urine and leave them to soak.</description>
