In the past, most of my previous ecoBumba sales have been custom nappy stash sewing, in stocks or random stockings. In between sewing for custom orders, I usually struggle to sew enough for markets or planned stockings.

So it is with much trepidation that I am finally doing a proper stocking for ecoBumba on Monday* 27 February 2012 4.30pm WST onwards until sold out. The stocking link will only show the items closer to the stocking time.

ecoBumba BOUTIQUE Pinto

I’m planning to stock a few new ecoBumba BOUTIQUE prints, some ecoBumba SALSA embroidered nappies and also a few seconds (mainly embroidery). These include owls, pony prints and more. I hope to be able to take enough photos to stock these fluffy delights.

All ecoBumba nappies come with 2 double layer bamboo inserts (1 trifold + 1 bifold), which equals 10-12 layers of bamboo. The nappy shell is trim for a one-size nappy, rise goes up to 49cm with a tummy dip.

The stocking will be announced on Facebook and through the newsletter, and will be hosted on the Bean Sprout Bubba website in the Stocking folder Stocking 27/2/2012 4.30pm WST.

This nappy worked very hard on Australia Day and needs a new home.

This ecoBumba nappy looks a bit distorted due to the pegging on the display! Rest assured that the nappy is symmetrical in real life.

It has been…
- patted,
- snapped and unsnapped,
- stuffed and unstuffed,
- examined on the inside and outside
…by many who came by to see my range of ecoBumba nappies at the Bean Sprout Bubba market stall.

It is made with soft luxurious Aqua Paisley minkee on the outside, laminated with PUL underneath the minkee, a stay dry layer of microsuede on the inside, and 2 long squishy bamboo absorbant inserts equalling 10-12 layers of absorbancy. Great for day or night time use for average wetters.

Fits approximately 3-16kg.

Nappy Photos

Here are some stock photos of nappies made with this fabric (note that the snaps in the stock photos are brown: the nappy for sale has orange snaps throughout)

The aqua colour is much brighter in real life, plus the light brown areas are actually bright orange! Snaps are all orange on the nappy to be sold.

I will take some pics of the actual nappy when I get back, and replace the stock photos when I update this post later. Sorry, my camera wire and card reader have both gone missing so my photos are stuck in the card!

Details of the sale

This nappy will be sold for $27 (ex-demo, RRP $34) and will be marked as a seconds item with permanent marker on the inner of the front tabs, and/or the tags cut off. nothing wrong with the nappy, I will leave it as is.The nappy has never been washed or worn, but has been handled by many hands at the Australia Day Market and has been pegged up on display for about 6 hours.

The 2 long inserts will be included with the nappy in this sale.
