Hemp fabric is used in the manufacture of these nappies. Hemp is an ideal fabric for nappies as it has natural anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. It is also more absorbant than cotton which allows for a trimmer nappy. Drying time is also quicker than bamboo. Hemp reaches maximum absorbancy after around 6 washes.

The body of the Bubba J Hemp is 2 layers of 55% hemp fleece / 45% organic cotton fabric with a two layer internal soaker of the same.

The nappy also comes with a two layer lay-in booster which can be folded and positioned according to your babies own needs. The nappy is gently elasticized at the back and legs, and fastens with polyacetel resin snaps. These nappies have been cut to allow for shrinkage when first washed.
As the Bubba J Hemp nappies are fitted, they will require a cover.  We do go without a cover though when at home during the warmer months.  

Note that for every 4-6 fitted nappies you will use around 2 covers.

Bubba J Hemp nappies come in two sizes:
Size 1:  birth to 9kgs
Size 2:  9 - 18kgs.
The tummy panel on the size 1 Bubble J hemp nappies can be folded down from the newborn stage, and folded up as your baby grows.
