Booroi Nappy Covers are made with the softest, stretchiest polyester fabric we could find. This fabric has 2 sides - a soft side, and a laminated side, which provides the waterproofing. The laminate is polyurethane laminate, or PUL - a newer type of waterproofing, which allows the fabric to breathe, making it ideal for cloth nappies. No more sweaty plastic pants!

Fastening with durable resin snaps, and bound in soft elastic, this nappy cover provides a highly adjustable fit to cover a wider weight range than most sized nappy covers. A different snap setting can be used for waist and leg adjustment, to suit a wider range of shapes and sizes. Less gaps = less leaks!

Each wing has 5 sets of snaps to ensure this cover will fit your baby for the longest possible time. The super stretchy fabric minimises those annoying 'in-between' sizes, to ensure a great fit every time.

Our double function leg gussets are gussets with a twist! These can be used in the traditional way, to provide an extra seal around the leg area when used over a fastened or fitted nappy, OR, as baby gets older and more mobile, a simple 'pad-folded' prefold nappy can be tucked inside the middle section to make a quick and easy nappy change.
The style of our gusset system also ensures that only soft fabric touches your baby, whereas the centre 'wet-zone' of the cover has a laminate surface - unless soiled, you can simply wipe the inside of the cover clean after a wet nappy change, and air dry in minutes! This allows you to use fewer nappy covers in rotation.

The sizing below refers to an approximate weight range, which is intended as a guide only. For best fit, please use the measurements provided.

In general we advise that you don't 'size up' - there is plenty of room to move in these covers!
The only exception to this is size newborn - most newborn babies will fit into our size Small from birth. Newborn size is a trimmer option for preemies or smaller newborns.
Also please note that the newborn size has 3 rows of snaps on each wing.

Sizing and fit guide:

Nappy covers should fit snug around babies waist and legs. If the cover is too loose, it may cause leaks. Our covers provide plenty of stretch and flexibility, and when fitted correctly, should not leave marks on babies skin.

Booroi Nappy Cover Sizing:

It is best to follow the measurements provided, as the weight ranges are approximate only. If you are using our covers over a fitted nappy, measure over nappy while it is on your baby, to ensure that the cover will fit the extra width at the waist etc.

Generally speaking Booroi covers provide a generous fit, due to their adjustability and stretch. The small size fits most newborns, and will last many months after that also, usually between 6-12 months of age. The medium size can last some toddlers until toilet training. Taller/older toddlers may move onto the large and extra large sizes, but many will not need to.
